Product overview
Details that help confirm the fit.
The SUNTEC AS 47 A is a compact gear-type oil burner pump designed for one-stage pressure-jet burners used in domestic and light commercial heating applications. It is suitable for domestic heating oil, HVO, B100 biofuel and kerosene, subject to the exact pump configuration and seal specification.
The pump incorporates a built-in filter, pressure regulator and normally open solenoid valve. The gear set draws fuel from the storage tank through the internal filter and transfers it to the pressure-regulating valve for delivery to the burner nozzle.
When the solenoid valve is energised, the internal bypass channel closes and nozzle pressure increases rapidly, providing a sharp fuel cut-on. When the burner stops, the solenoid valve opens the bypass channel, releases the pressure and allows the nozzle valve to close immediately. This provides rapid fuel cut-off independently of the pump’s rotational speed.
The SUNTEC AS 47 A can be installed in either a one-pipe or two-pipe fuel system. In a two-pipe installation, unused fuel is returned to the tank and system bleeding is normally automatic. For one-pipe operation, the bypass plug must be removed from the return port and the return connection must be sealed in accordance with SUNTEC installation instructions.
Typical applications include domestic oil burners, heating boilers, hot-water systems, light commercial heating equipment, kerosene burners, HVO systems and compatible biofuel heating installations.
The complete model number must be checked before ordering because shaft rotation, nozzle-outlet position, hub size, pressure range, solenoid voltage, cable arrangement and one-pipe or two-pipe configuration can vary between AS 47 A versions. Installation, pressure adjustment and commissioning must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with the official SUNTEC documentation and applicable regulations.
Model, voltage, rotation, pressure range and mounting can vary. Final compatibility is confirmed against the nameplate or existing component.
