Product overview
Details that help confirm the fit.
The Brahma E6G SR is a normally closed solenoid gas valve designed for automatic fuel control in civil and industrial gas-burner systems.
When electrical power is not applied, the valve remains closed and prevents gas from passing through the body. When the solenoid is energised, the valve opens rapidly and supplies gas to the burner. Removing electrical power closes the valve within one second.
The SR configuration combines quick opening with adjustable maximum gas flow. The flow-control mechanism allows the gas supply to be matched with the burner’s operating capacity during commissioning.
The E6G SR series is available with either an 8 mm or 10 mm internal orifice. The E6G SR8 supports operating pressures up to 1000 mbar, while the E6G SR10 supports pressures up to 500 mbar.
The valve is suitable for gases from the first, second and third gas families. Standard electrical versions operate from either 230 V AC or 110 V AC at 50/60 Hz.
The die-cast brass body provides a robust and compact construction suitable for burner gas trains. The valve can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position, with the flow-direction arrow aligned with the direction of gas movement.
Typical applications include forced-draught gas burners, heating boilers, steam boilers, hot-water boilers, furnaces, industrial ovens, hot-air generators, radiant-tube heaters and process-heating equipment.
The correct E6G SR8 or E6G SR10 configuration must be selected according to the required pipe connection, operating pressure, nominal flow rate and burner capacity. Installation, gas-flow adjustment, leak testing and burner commissioning must be performed by qualified personnel.
Model, voltage, rotation, pressure range and mounting can vary. Final compatibility is confirmed against the nameplate or existing component.
