The DUNGS GasMultiBloc MBC-65 is a compact multifunctional gas-control assembly designed for single-stage gas burners and compatible combustion systems.
The unit combines gas filtration, pressure regulation, two automatic safety shut-off valves and gas-pressure monitoring in one integrated assembly. This compact construction reduces the number of separate gas-train components and simplifies burner installation.
Incoming gas passes through the integrated microfilter, which helps protect the regulator, valve seats and downstream burner components against contamination. The servo pressure regulator then controls the outlet pressure supplied to the burner.
Two integrated automatic shut-off valves provide reliable gas isolation. When the burner controller removes electrical power, the valves close and interrupt gas flow to the burner.
The integrated gas-pressure switch monitors the supply pressure and provides an electrical signal to the burner control system. This helps prevent burner operation when the available gas pressure is outside the permitted operating condition.
The MBC-65 provides sensitive outlet-pressure adjustment through its servo regulator. A downstream main-valve restrictor allows the maximum gas flow to be matched with the burner capacity during commissioning.
Depending on the complete model suffix, the MBC-65 can provide fast opening or damped slow opening. DLE versions use a controlled pressure rise to reduce the initial gas admission and support smoother burner ignition.
The compact body uses threaded flange connections and is designed for installation within compatible burner gas trains. Typical applications include single-stage forced-draught gas burners, commercial and industrial boilers, steam boilers, hot-water boilers, furnaces, industrial ovens and hot-air generators.
The complete model code must be used when ordering because electrical voltage, opening characteristic, pressure-switch range and connector arrangement vary between versions. Installation, pressure adjustment, gas-leak testing and combustion commissioning must be performed by qualified personnel.
