This ignition cable is a flexible, insulated high-voltage cable designed for use in oil-burner ignition systems. The cable provides the electrical connection between the burner’s ignition transformer and ignition electrode.
The red outer insulation helps protect the internal conductor from electrical leakage and contact with surrounding burner components. The cable is supplied in coiled form and can be cut to the required length for compatible burner installations.
Typical applications include pressure-jet oil burners, heating boilers, steam boilers, hot-water boilers, oil-fired furnaces, industrial ovens, hot-air generators and thermic-fluid heaters.
The cable must be terminated using correctly rated high-voltage connectors suitable for the ignition transformer and electrode. Cable routing should maintain adequate clearance from hot surfaces, sharp metal edges, moving components, fuel lines and low-voltage control wiring.
Before installation, the cable’s voltage rating, temperature rating, conductor size, outer diameter and compatibility with the ignition transformer should be verified. Installation and burner commissioning must be performed by qualified personnel.
