Product overview
Details that help confirm the fit.
The Riello control-box base is a plug-in mounting and electrical wiring interface designed for compatible burner controllers. It provides a secure mechanical location for the control box and connects the controller to the burner’s electrical components through arranged spring contacts and screw terminals.
The base is manufactured from electrically insulating moulded thermoplastic and incorporates multiple screw terminals for connecting components such as the burner motor, ignition transformer, fuel valves, thermostats, pressure switches, flame-detection circuit, alarm output and remote-reset circuit. The actual terminal functions depend on the installed controller and burner wiring diagram.
The controller plugs into the spring-contact interface on the base, allowing the control box to be removed or replaced without disconnecting every field wire. The base includes fixing slots for installation on a compatible burner body, mounting plate or electrical-control assembly.
This base-terminal design is used with compatible Riello RMO88 and RMG88 burner control boxes. Depending on the exact burner and socket configuration, it may also be suitable for the replacement CMG88.62D2 control box.
Typical applications include forced-draught gas and oil burners, industrial boilers, steam boilers, hot-water boilers, furnaces, hot-air generators and burner-control repair systems.
Before installation, the terminal count, terminal numbering, controller keying, fixing dimensions, burner wiring diagram and complete base part number must be compared with the original component. Electrical wiring, insulation testing, earthing and commissioning must be performed by qualified burner-service personnel.
Model, voltage, rotation, pressure range and mounting can vary. Final compatibility is confirmed against the nameplate or existing component.
