Details that help confirm the fit.
The SUNTEC AN 77 C is a positive-displacement gear pump designed for single-stage oil burners used in commercial and industrial heating applications. It incorporates a pressure-regulating valve with a hydraulic cut-off function and can be configured for either one-pipe or two-pipe fuel systems.
The AN 77 C designation identifies gear size 77, anticlockwise shaft rotation and a left-hand nozzle outlet when viewed from the shaft end. The direction of rotation and nozzle position must be matched with the burner motor, coupling and fuel-pipe arrangement before installation.
The pump is suitable for domestic heating oil, HVO, B100 biofuel and kerosene, subject to the complete model code and installation requirements. It can handle fuel with an operating viscosity from 2 to 75 cSt and a temperature from 0 to 60°C.
The internal gear set draws fuel from the tank through the built-in strainer and transfers it to the pressure-regulating valve. The valve maintains the selected nozzle pressure and provides a hydraulically operated cut-on and cut-off function according to pump speed, gear capacity and pressure setting.
During burner start-up, fuel initially returns through a special passage in the regulator piston. As pump speed increases, nozzle pressure rises rapidly and opens the regulator valve. When the burner motor stops and pump speed decreases, the valve closes as the gear-set capacity falls below the internal bypass flow.
In a two-pipe installation, excess fuel returns to the storage tank and pump bleeding is normally automatic. In a one-pipe installation, excess fuel circulates internally after the bypass plug has been removed from the return port and the return connection has been sealed correctly.
Although the AN pump incorporates a hydraulic cut-off valve, SUNTEC normally associates this series with an external in-line solenoid valve for controlled burner shut-off.
Typical applications include oil and diesel burners, heating boilers, steam boilers, furnaces, hot-air generators, thermic-fluid heaters, industrial ovens and process-heating equipment.
The complete pump reference must be checked before ordering because hub diameter, pump series, revision, pressure configuration and one-pipe or two-pipe setup can vary. Installation, fuel selection, pressure adjustment and commissioning must be performed by qualified personnel.
Model, voltage, rotation, pressure range and mounting can vary. Final compatibility is confirmed against the nameplate or existing component.
