The SUNTEC AS 47 C is a compact positive-displacement gear pump designed for single-stage domestic and light commercial oil burners. It is suitable for domestic heating oil, HVO, B100 biofuel and kerosene, subject to the complete pump reference and installation requirements.
The AS 47 C designation identifies gear size 47, anticlockwise shaft rotation and a left-hand nozzle outlet when viewed from the shaft end. The rotation direction and outlet position must be matched with the burner motor, coupling and fuel-line arrangement before installation.
The pump incorporates a built-in strainer, pressure regulator and normally open solenoid valve. The gear set draws fuel from the tank through the strainer and transfers it to the pressure-regulating valve for delivery to the burner nozzle.
When the solenoid valve is energised, the internal bypass channel closes and nozzle pressure builds rapidly, providing fast fuel cut-on. When the burner stops, the solenoid opens the bypass channel, releases pressure and allows the nozzle valve to close immediately. Cut-on and cut-off operation are independent of motor speed.
The SUNTEC AS 47 C can be used in one-pipe or two-pipe fuel systems. In a two-pipe installation, unused fuel returns to the tank and pump bleeding is normally automatic. For one-pipe operation, the bypass plug must be removed from the return port and the return connection must be sealed using the appropriate steel plug and washer.
Typical applications include domestic oil burners, heating boilers, hot-water systems, kerosene burners, HVO heating systems, biofuel burners and light commercial heating equipment.
The complete pump code must be checked before ordering because pressure range, hub diameter, model revision, solenoid voltage, connector arrangement and piping configuration can vary. Installation, electrical connection, pressure adjustment and commissioning must be performed by qualified personnel.
