Product overview
Details that help confirm the fit.
The Oil Burner Coupling is a compact flexible drive component designed to connect the burner motor shaft to the fuel-pump shaft.
During burner operation, the coupling transfers rotational movement from the electric motor to the oil pump. This allows the pump to draw fuel from the supply system, generate pressure and deliver fuel to the burner nozzle.
The coupling is manufactured from moulded engineering polymer and features a short cylindrical body with longitudinal ribs. Recessed drive sockets at the ends engage with the corresponding motor and pump shafts.
Its flexible construction helps absorb vibration, reduce mechanical shock and accommodate minor alignment differences between the connected shafts. This supports quieter burner operation and helps reduce stress on the motor, pump shaft and bearings.
The compact coupling fits inside the burner’s motor-and-pump drive assembly. Correct engagement with both shafts is essential for reliable pump rotation and consistent fuel pressure.
A worn, cracked or rounded coupling may allow the burner motor to operate without driving the fuel pump. Common symptoms include failure to build fuel pressure, failed ignition, burner lockout, intermittent pump operation or unusual mechanical noise.
The coupling is suitable for compatible oil burners operating with LDO, diesel, kerosene and light fuel oil. Typical applications include heating boilers, steam boilers, hot-water boilers, industrial ovens, furnaces, hot-air generators and thermic-fluid heaters.
Model, voltage, rotation, pressure range and mounting can vary. Final compatibility is confirmed against the nameplate or existing component.
